"English Literature for Children" is an English-language course studied by students majoring in "Primary Education" specializing in "English Language and Literature" in the fourth year in the seventh semester. It is devoted to acquainting students with the origins and rise of children's English literature, the founders and key figures in its formation and development, as well as the biography of writers, their creative works, features of children's writing, and the works themselves (original language). Students analyze theoretical material from the time of the formation of British literature for children to its contemporary period; read excerpts from works for children selected for study, poems, legends, fairy tales, in the original language, as well as watch videos about classic writers who laid the foundations of the tradition of children's literature; present creative developments on the introduction of elements of English literature in the educational process of English in PS.
